(no subject)

I was given a bride, and wed in the presence of two young animal people, by a tall woman dressed ostentatiously in the skins of the animal people's friends. How they trembled as they were forced to witness the affair. To what purpose was this charade held? My bride was young and fair, perhaps too young to be caught up in the mad daydreams of alcohol-swilling fur-murderers. I only knew her for a night, as I was dragged away through a field of snow to be swaddled in black wool and tucked in the back of a van. I watched clearcuts pass, rusting machinery of a fading logging industry, upside-down cars and bullet-hole ridden outhouses. What is this wasteland I've been thrust into?

In the midst of this wasteland, I was thrown into a rickety red truck, more ancient than even my missing master. The grinning, aging woman who placed me there pointed to a bullethole in the back window, saying, "I think Victoria did it." Everyone sparkles here more than me. It's enough to scare even I.

The Horror

The man in the flowered shirt isn't here obviously.  I guess I'll have to make do with the fully stocked bar.  I spent the night in Cabin 6 with a strange man.  Well sort of, he stayed out til 5 am and then stuck me on the mantle like I was a toy or something.    I need to go home.

Where are You JAY LAKE

I travel 600 miles through mountains, floods, snowstorms and Northern California Republicans to go to this silly writer thing where you're supposed to be.  What do I find.    OH MY GOD, BABES.  HOT BABES EVERYWHERE.

Sorry you missed it.  BUT DID I MENTION THE HOT BABES.

I slept in canin #6.  (No hot babes there, trust me) but it has been fantastic.  Giant eagles soar over the lake.  I can see it from my spot on the bar nest to all the HOT BABES.

But enough about that.

Where you going to be next.  i really would like to catch you.

I'm Lonely

It was dark.  It has always been dark in my world.  Well not always, on occassion there are passing flashes of light, figures, I see them darkly through the misty wrap they keep me in.  And then as if by some bit of magic I found myself free of the wraps of my origin.  Free to love, free to be.  His hair flowed over his shoulders to my own, he was warm, bearded and jolly.  I stood with himn and looked out.  It was as if a new day had broken and I knew I was home.

Then it was back to the box.  But I could feel his hand on my carrier as I went gently to where he sat.

And then it happened.  I can still smell her perfume.  It was a bitter mix of tarragon and garlic.  Even her touch to my case caused me to burn.  She took me to a party, I drank too much, and I confess, I did things.

I'll forget those things in time, but Until then, I only seek to find my way home.  Home to where my precious Jay waits for me.

So I'll travel, until I find him.  Somewhere I know he'll be mine.
